Welcome to another edition of ‘Throw Back Thursday.’ Last week, I posted about the classic Korean drama ‘My Lovely Samsoon’ and so today, I’m returning to music for ‘Throw Back Thursday.’
I was originally going to post Dynamic Duo’s ‘Ring Ma Bell’ for today’s ‘Throw Back Thursday’, but then I changed my mind and switched to Jinusean’s ‘Phone Number’ and ‘Tell Me.’ It’s been so long since I’ve listened to both songs, but now that I listen to them again, they bring back so many memories. Both tracks are just so memorable and still refreshing to listen to to this very day. It doesn’t help either as they’re both K hip-pop tracks, which I find myself listening to more these days than idol music.
I was never really a big fan of Jinusean, but ‘Phone Number’ and ‘Tell Me’ are two of my favorite tracks from them. I remember falling in love with ‘Tell Me’ the very first time I heard it; it sounded so sweet and cute and cool. Then ‘Phone Number’ – what can I say about this song? It’s epic. Jinusean look cool and dope in the music video, the song itself is fun to listen to as it’s super catchy, the music video showcases “swag” which isn’t surprising considering Jinusean was from YG.
