Kim Sung-cheol casted in “Do you like Brahms?” alongside Park Eun-bin and Kim Min-Jae

YAAAAAAS! YAAAAAAAAAS! This one I’m definitely going to watch!

Kim Sung-cheol (Arthdal Chronicles) has been casted to join alongside Park Eun-bin and Kim Min-jae in the upcoming music drama ‘Do You Like Brahms?’. The drama centers around “classical music students who are at a turning point in their careers, where their love and dreams are on the line.”

I haven’t seen that many dramas revolving around music so I don’t have too many thoughts about the premise and the driving force behind the drama per se, but man oh man, am I excited for the cast! Park Eun-bin has always been one of my favorite actresses (I remember watching her back in ‘Operation Proposal’ with Yoo Seung-ho — a dream pairing of mine!) and I’m glad she’s been getting a lot more lead roles in the last couple of years (her last drama ‘Hot Stove League’ was met with great reception and ratings). Kim Min-jae (Dr. Romantic 2) is also one of those actors who I like. He pretty much has it all — he can act and he has the looks and he’s been active in many dramas, but just hasn’t really found his footing just yet. Hopefully, ‘Do You Like Brahms?’ will solidify his career even more and be that extra boost that he needs to get his name out there. I’m super excited at the pairing of Kim Min-jae and Park Eun-bin for I really like them both individually so I’m even more excited to see them on my screen together.

As if things couldn’t get any better, Kim Sung-cheol has also been casted in the drama alongside Park Eun-bin and Kim Min-jae. I’ve really only watched Kim Sung-cheol fully in his short music drama ‘To. Jenny‘ and then sort of watched him in ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ (I was sort of following that drama but also wasn’t) so I don’t have too many memories of him in that project. Regardless, my first full exposure to Kim Sung-cheol was in ‘To. Jenny‘ and ever since then, I’ve been a fan of his. He was someone who I kept my eyes out for and I was happy to see him in additional projects following the short drama. It’s great that he will be acting in ‘Do You Like Brahms?’.

‘Do You Like Brahms?’ will be directed by Jo Young-min and is slated to air at the very end of August (still seems so far away!). August, can you please get here faster?
