AHHHH, teasers and photos are finally out for anticipated romance movie ‘On Your Wedding Day’ starring Park Bo-Young (Strong Woman Do Bong-soon) and Kim Young-kwang (Lookout).
After what seems like a million years of waiting, the first glances into the movie has finally been revealed. Park Bo-young and Kim Young-kwang acted together once back in movie ‘Hot Young Bloods’ alongside Lee Jong-suk and in the movie, Young-kwang’s character had an unrequited love for Bo-young’s character. In ‘On Your Wedding Day’, the two play each other’s first loves after meeting in high school. Now it seems like Young-kwang has finally got the girl he was chasing after in ‘Hot Young Bloods’, but it’s not too certain if his love for Bo-young is also unrequited this time or actually reciprocated.
I was pretty excited for this movie upon learning that Park Bo-young was going to be in it because she’s my absolute favorite Korean actress since I first saw her in popular movie Scandlemakers with Cha Tae-hyun. She went on to do other movies and a few dramas afterwards which I all watched (I didn’t finish Strong Woman but I absolutely loved the chemistry in there between her and Park Hyung-sik. Speaking of Hyung-sik, wouldn’t it have been great if he was in this movie with Park Bo-young?!). I love her so much and am so excited for not only this movie but also for her upcoming works because I think she not only has the acting skills and talent, but she’s also very cute, bubbly, and beautiful.
Knowing that Kang Ha-neul was offered this movie opposite Park Bo-young breaks my heart into a million tiny pieces, because I would do anything to see him and Park Bo-young together in a movie. However, I’m also satisfied with Kim Young-kwang and I think the cutest thing about the movie is going to be the huge height difference between both actors.
‘On Your Wedding Day’ is set to be released on August 22, 2018. Look forward to a movie recap once this movie is released with english subs 🙂
