Ooh, this one looks interesting!
Seohyun (Time) and Go Kyung-pyo (Strongest Deliveryman) will be acting as swindlers and con-artists in their upcoming drama ‘Private Lives.’ Kim Young-min (Crash Landing On You) and Kim Hyo-jin (Mary Stayed Out All Night) round out the cast as the second male and female leads, respectively.
Go Kyung-pyo plays Lee Jung-hwan, “a team leader for a major corporation” who “looks like an ordinary company employee but is a mysterious figure.” He “unintentionally gets involved in matters of national privacy and fighting a major firm using every scheme he knows in order to survive.” In order to do this, Jung-hwan joins hands with Cha Joo-eun (Seohyun), a swindler “who has the looks of a sweet and innocent woman who supports herself with her crimes.”
As shallow as this might be, I have to admit that the first thing I noticed about ‘Private Lives’ was just how visually pleasing Seohyun and Go Kyung-pyo look together. I know, I know! They’re both capable actors individually, but they also make such a pretty couple together and that was the first thing that stood out to me when I learned about the pairing. I definitely can’t deny the chemistry between the two in the teasers for the drama so far and now it makes me want to check out the drama.
‘Private Lives’ is scheduled to air on September 16 on JTBC. Directing the drama is Nam Gun (Temperature of Love) and writing the drama is Yoo Sung-yeol (Heartless City).
P.S.: Smile like a fool with me and watch this interview clip of Seohyun and Go Kyung-pyo for a magazine photoshoot that they recently did together (and can we also talk about the way that Go Kyung-pyo kept on calling Seohyun by her real name, Joo-hyun?? I’M CRYING. THEY’RE SO CUTE!) ^_^
